He took his own life last week, on Wednesday, 30 June.  The day I was packing up at my previous job.  I only saw the news on Friday. I was stunned.

I think my Hallyu craze really started with him. I was crazy over him, several years ago, because of his drama with Eugene, Loving You.  I even blogged about it a few times:

I don’t know what drives a 32 year old man, in his prime, a popular actor, to suicide. I don’t know if the stress they face is so much so that they would rather leave behind their family and friends to escape it. I hope he has peace now, and I hope his family and friends will find also find peace with his leaving, someday, somehow.
